Sqrrl
The operating system for mission-critical computing.
Sqrrl builds M8, a microkernel real-time operating system for autonomous and safety-critical systems that pairs the safety and determinism of a traditional RTOS with a modern, Linux-like developer experience.
M8 targets automotive, aerospace and defense, industrial automation and robotics: it delivers deterministic real-time behavior and aims for certification to the highest safety standards (ASIL-D, SIL-4, DAL-A) while keeping a familiar Linux/POSIX interface for developers.
The company also offers Architect, a tool to analyze, debug and optimize memory behavior. Sqrrl is a spin-out of Minerva Systems, developed between Modena and Munich.
Microkernel RTOS
Deterministic real-time behavior for safety-critical systems.
Certification-ready
Designed for ASIL-D, SIL-4 and DAL-A, the highest safety standards.
Developer experience
A familiar Linux/POSIX interface, European-built and owned.
